Good resume builder

I used the AI Resume Builder. It was easy to use. The suggestions were helpful for improving my resume. Finished it quickly. Got a better-looking resume for applications.

Reliable tools, keep coming back

I've been using Careerflow on and off for about a year now. Started with the LinkedIn Optimization tool, which was great then. This time, I got the Premium Membership again, mostly for the Job Description Scanner and the AI Cover Letter Generator. It's consistently good. The scanner highlights keywords effectively, and the cover letters are a solid starting point. I like that the interface hasn't changed much, it's familiar. Never had any major issues with billing or access. They're dependable, which is why I returned when I started a new job search.

Solid platform for job hunting

I signed up for the Premium Membership last month to try out the Job Application Tracker and the AI Cover Letter Generator. The onboarding was smooth, and I linked my accounts without issues. The tracker helped me keep my applications organized, which was a huge relief. Generating cover letters was quick, though I still had to tweak them a bit for specific roles. Customer support responded to a question about a formatting bug within a day. Overall, the tools were useful and helped streamline my job search process. Delivery of the service itself was instant, of course, being online.

Helped with my LinkedIn

So I was looking for a new gig and my LinkedIn profile was kinda old. I saw Careerflow and decided to try their LinkedIn Profile Makeover thing. It was pretty straightforward to use, just followed the steps. It gave me some good ideas for my headline and summary. My profile looks way better now, definitely more professional. Felt good about the changes, hoping it helps me get noticed more. It worked out alright.

Just wondering, how many resumes can I build with Careerflow's AI resume builder if I get the premium plan? Is there a limit or can I make as many as I need for different jobs?

E Emma N. 1 month ago
From what I remember, there wasn't really a hard limit on resumes once you're premium. I made a bunch tailored to different roles without hitting any caps.

N Neil 1 month ago
I've made quite a few, like 5 or 6 different versions, and never ran into a limit. I think it's unlimited with premium, which is super helpful for customizing.

i just signed up for careerflow but forgot to enter a promo code. is there a way to apply it after purchase or am i out of luck?

S Sophie Reyes 2 weeks ago
Ugh, that sucks. I think promo codes usually have to be entered at checkout. You might be out of luck for that specific purchase, but maybe reach out to their support? Doesn't hurt to ask.

A Alex 2 weeks ago
I've never successfully applied a code after the fact with any service. They always seem to be tied to the initial checkout process. For future reference, it's usually on the payment page before you finalize.

Does Careerflow's job application tracker work for international jobs, or is it mostly focused on the US market?

D Dana E. 3 weeks ago
I've used it for some roles in Canada and the UK, and it worked fine for me. It's not really location-specific, more about tracking your applications regardless of where they are.

B Beth Whitfield 3 weeks ago
I think it's pretty global. The tracker itself is just organizing your applications, which isn't tied to a specific country. The resume and LinkedIn tools might be more US-centric in terms of common formats, but the tracker is universal.

Hey, thinking about signing up for Careerflow premium. Does anyone know if they offer a free trial first? Wanna test it out before committing.

M Mia 1 month ago
Nah, I don't think there's a free trial for the premium stuff directly. They do have some free tools though, like the LinkedIn audit, you could try that to get a feel for it.

M Megan 1 month ago
Yeah, I remember looking into that. They don't really do a free trial for premium, but their basic LinkedIn optimization tool is free to use. Gives you a taste of how their AI works.

Does Careerflow usually have any Black Friday or Cyber Monday sales? Thinking of waiting if there's a big discount coming up.

T Tom 1 month ago
They totally do! I got my annual subscription last Cyber Monday with a pretty sweet discount, like 20-30% off. Worth waiting for if you're not in a rush.

G Greg Whitfield 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually have seasonal deals, especially around November. I'd definitely hold out for Black Friday or Cyber Monday if you can, those are typically their biggest sales.

Considering Careerflow or Teal for my job hunt. Anyone used both and have thoughts on which is better, especially for resume stuff?

R Rachel 1 month ago
I've only used Careerflow but my friend uses Teal. She says Teal is pretty good for tracking but Careerflow's AI resume builder and scanner felt more intuitive for me. Just depends on what you prioritize.
1
L Lisa 4 weeks ago
Hmm, I tried both. Careerflow felt a bit more focused on the AI optimization for LinkedIn and resumes, really digging into keywords. Teal's tracker was neat but the resume stuff felt a bit more basic compared to Careerflow's depth, at least for me.

Are there any student discounts for Careerflow? I'm trying to save some cash while job searching.

M Mia Walsh 1 month ago
Yeah, I think I saw something about a student discount when I was signing up for my annual plan. Check their FAQs or help section, I'm pretty sure it's mentioned there.

Yes! They definitely have a student discount. I got one last semester. You usually just need to verify your student status. Saves a decent amount on the annual plan.

Anyone know if you can cancel the premium subscription anytime? Or do you have to commit for a full year if you sign up for the annual plan?

M Mia 2 weeks ago
You can cancel premium whenever you want, even if you paid for the year. I did it after a few months last year. You just keep access until your paid period ends.
3
R Renee E. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, pretty sure you can cancel. I had the monthly and stopped it easily enough. For annual, you probably just won't get a refund for the unused time, but it won't auto-renew.
